APRIL 12 - from the -- Rhenish Institute for Environmental Research at the University of Cologne * The following video maps are based on jet stream currents and the amount of radiation that has been released from the Japan nuclear crisis in the last several days. There projections are for April 12 thru 14th and are showing Cesium-137 radiation cloud over California. Cesium-137 is the nasty isotope that has a half life, meaning it lasts for 29 years and even small amounts of it can cause cancers, usually leukemia and lung cancers. Pregnant woman that are carrying fetuses, the fetuses can be injured and born with birth defects. Cesium-137 IS NOT destroyed by rainfall or water. Rain will actually bring more of it down. www.eurad.uni-koeln.de/index_e.htmlThe University of Cologne is the University that did all of the projections during the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1976 and they were 97% accurate on their forecasts. If you do not want to believe the University of Cologne, then what about the University of Maryland. They are plotting the jet streams and the radiation plumes from Japan. Pay attention to the left sided plotted graphs and you will see how much is coming at different altitudes! www.atmos.umd.edu/~tcanty/hysplit/Is our government telling us the truth ? The EPA has shut down all mobile monitoring radiation stations across the country.
